Reno Evening Gazette October 19, 1882
Henry Miles, a native of Wales, aged about 58 years, who lived in a lonely
valley some twelve miles from Susanville, was found dead in his cabin on the
16th.  From evidence obtained by Coroner Johnston, he must have been dead over
four weeks, and evidently died in a fit.  He was buried near his cabin.
