Reno Evening Gazette January 6, 1888
Burial of John Miller

John Miller, who died on the 4th inst. Of pneumonia, was buried this afternoon
at 2 o’clock from his late residence, Russ House, of which he was lessee,
California Lodger, No. 1580, Knights of Honor, of which deceased was a member,
attended the funeral and acted as escort.  Mr. Miller was an old-time resident
of Reno, and leaves a wife and large family of children to mourn his loss.
