Reno Evening Gazette February 24, 1882
Dropped Dead
Mrs. Jacob Moran, who lives on the south side of the river, near the V. and T.
track, got up this morning to build a fire, and just as she reached the stove
dropped dead.  Mr. Moran was out in town somewhere, and no one was in the house
but the children.  The alarm was given, and Dr. Bergman summoned immediately,
but when he arrived he found nothing could be done, for the poor woman was dead.
 Heart disease is the supposed cause of her death.  Mrs. Moran was about 42
years of age, and leaves a husband and three small children.  The funeral will
take place to-morrow.
