Reno Evening Gazette February 4, 1911
Well Known Reno Woman Is Dead
Mrs. Catherine Cleator Niedt, wife of Richard Niedt, died this morning in this
city, where she had resided for the past fourteen years.
The deceased was aged 69 years, having been born on the Isle of Man on June
25th, 1841.  She was married in Liverpool, England in 1872, and came to the
United States in 1888.
She is survived by the following children: Jobe Niedt of Klamath Falls, Oregon,
and Alfred, Agnes and Ada Niedt of this city.  Robert Cleator, formerly of this
city, but now engaged in business in San Diego, is a brother and there are three
sisters in England.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.  Funeral services,
conducted by Rev. Mr. Kelly, will be held in the Methodist church at 2 o’clock
Monday afternoon.
