A Reno Man Dies in Wood River
The Bellevue Chronicle of April 14th says: Jerry Norton died at the Grand
Central Hotel in Hailey, at an early hour this morning of pneumonia.  He came
here from Reno, Nevada, the first of the week in apparent good health, and went
up to Hailey and was taken ill.  From the first attack he grew worse till the
time of his death.  Jerry Norton was well known to W. H. Moore and W. W. Yeates
of this place, who first met him in Plumas county, Cal., in the palmy days of
mining in that vicinity.  He will be buried at Hailey.
