Reno Evening Gazette July 13, 1912
O’Hara- In Reno, July 12, 1912, Gertrude, beloved daughter of Barney O’Hara of
Reno, sister of Barney O’Hara of South America, Phil O’Hara of Los Angeles, Mrs.
T. H. O’Connor of San Francisco, Mrs. Kate Jensen, Josepha, Isabel, Thomas and
Olympia O’Hara, of Reno, a native of Nevada, aged 27 years 1 month and 3 days
Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services tomorrow
(Sunday) at 2 o’clock p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas church, Rev. Father Tubman
officiating.  Interment, St. Thomas cemetery.  Remains at the parlors of the
Perkins-Gulling Co.

Funeral of Miss O’Hara
Last Sad Rites Are Spoken Over Remains of Railroad Accident Victim
Pathetic was the funeral of the late Miss Gertrude O’Hara, which was held
yesterday afternoon from St. Thomas Aquinas church.  The fact that the young
woman had so many friends and acquaintances in this city and the tragic
circumstances of her death caused the spacious auditorium to be thronged.
Rev. Father T. M. Tubman spoke feelingly of the pure character of the deceased.
A long cortege followed the body to the grave.  The interment was in St. Thomas
Aquinas cemetery.
Escorted to church by large number of the ladies of the Society of Children,
Mary Burke, Jeannette Cameron, also by members of the Knights of Columbus.
Pall bearers: J.B. O’Sullivan, August Frohlich, J. McCormack, Jr., Dr. Phillips,
J. Cameron, J.H. Stotesbury.
Honorary bearers: Mary Callahan, Mary Burke, Jeannette Cameron, Beulah Morgan,
Lavinia Kinnikin, Katherine Mills.
