Her husband, the late Joseph J. Parent, was a well known Reno contractor and builder. Mrs. Parent came to Reno forty years ago from Riverside, Ontario, Canada, where she was born sixty-nine years ago and she lived in Reno continuously. For a time Mr and Mrs. Parent made their home on Lake street before that street was included in the business district, and thirty years ago they moved to Mill street where Mrs. Parent died. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Irene Smith, Mrs. Cecile Nashland, and Mrs. Ruth Flynn, and two grandchildren, Ruth Nashland and Renee Flynn. She was a member of the Reno women's Relief corps. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 at the Groesbeck & O'Brien chapel.
