Reno Evening Gazette August 13, 1913
Porteous- In this city, August 12, 1913, Virginia A., beloved wife of S.G. and
mother of Fred and Elbert Porteous and Mrs. M. Slinas, Jr., and Mr. Chas. C.
Larson, aged 55 years, 11 months and 11 days, a native of Pennsylvania.

Funeral services to be held from the chapel of Groesbeck & O’Brien tomorrow,
Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. Mr. Unsworth officiating.  Interment
K. of P. cemetery.
