Prose, one of the old residents of this city, died suddenly late yesterday afternoon. She had attended a church meeting in the afternoon and was seemingly in good health. She drove to her home on the county road and started to unhitch the horse. She had partly finished, when she dropped dead, seemingly without warning. Her husband went to the barnyard twenty minutes after she drove in and there found her lying at the feet of the horse. It was decided this morning by Judge Pollock that an inquest would not be necessary as death undoubtedly resulted from natural causes. The deceased was aged 69 years 1 month.
