February 22, 1911
Rhodes-In Reno, Feb. 22, 1911, Mary J., beloved mother of L.B, H.E. and Jesse M.
Rhodes of Reno, Mrs. Oatman of Lassen Co., Cal., Mrs. Craig of Capay, Cal., and
Mrs. Arlo Smith of Ohio.  A native of Ohio.  Aged 87 years, 10 months and 4
days.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 23), at 2 p.m.
from the residence of L.B. Rhodes, 810 North Center street.  Rev. S. Unsworth
officiating. Interment at Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Rhodes’ Funeral Was Held Yesterday
Mrs. J. M. Rhodes, who died in this city on February 22nd after quite a long
illness was laid to rest yesterday.  The funeral took place from the home of
L.B. Rhodes and the interment was in Masonic cemetery.
Mrs. J.M. Rhodes was a native of Ohio and was 87 years of age.  She came to the
west when a young woman and was a resident of Long Valley, Cal., for a number of
years.
