An operation performed four months ago failed to help, owing to her advanced age. Mrs. Rittinger was the mother of Fred and Will Rittinger, Mrs. A. S. Kline and Mrs. W.E. Pearl of Reno and of Mrs. Josephine Alexander of Manhattan. A.S. Kline of the Reno fire department is a son-in-law. She was 58 years, 2 months and 8 days old at the time of her death. The funeral service, which will be private, will be held from Mrs. Rittinger’s late residence, at a time to announced later. Interment will be in Colfax, Cal. Rittinger-In this city, Sept. 19, 1912, Josephine, dearly beloved mother of Fred and Will Rittinger, Mrs. A.S. Kline, Mrs. W.E. Pearl and Mrs. Josephine Alexander. Aged 58 years, 2 months, 8 days. Native of Pennsylvania. Funeral services private at her late residence, 842 West Sixth street, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock, Rev. W.D. Trout officiating. The family will escort the remains to Colfax on No. 23 tomorrow night where interment will take place. September 21, 1912 Funeral of Mrs. Rittinger The funeral of Mrs. Rittinger, who died Thursday at her home, 842 West Sixth street, will be held from the residence this afternoon at 4 o’clock, the Rev. Trout of the Congregational church officiating. The services will be private and the body will be taken to Colfax, Cal., for burial, leaving this city tonight on Southern Pacific train No. 23.
