Ritts Services to be Held Here 
 
Funeral   services   for  Benjamin 
H. Ritts, local agent for the  South- 
ern  Pacific  Company at  Golconda 
who  died  Wednesday at  the  com- 
pany   hospital   in   San   Francisco, 
will  be  held  in  Reno tomorrow. 
Rites  of  the  Masonic  order  are 
at  2 o'clock  at the O'Brien-Rogers 
chapel, with  interment  in  the  fam- 
ily  plot,  Mountain View  cemetery 
A  native  of  Aspen,  Col.,  aged 
fifty-two  years,  he  has  been  em- 
ployed by  the   railroad   company 
or  twenty-eight  years. He started 
as  telegraph  operator,  and  in 
recent  years  had  been  at  Golconda. 
He had  been  in  failing  health  for 
six  months,  and  went  to  the  coast 
for  treatment  a  month  ago. 
He  was  a   member,   and  past 
master   of  the   Masonic  lodge  at 
Winnemucca;   a   member   of   the 
phers [sic],  and  during  the  world  en- 
listed as a wireless telegrapher. 
Surviving   are   his   wife,    Mrs. 
Esther  Ritts,  and  his  father,  Nel- 
son  Rltts,  both  of Golconda, and  a 
sister,  Mrs.  Josephine  M.  Day  of 
Reno.
