Reno Evening Gazette January 2, 1886
A Long Life Closed

Mrs. Mary Robnette the aged mother of Mrs. Chat Roberts, died at her daughter’s
house on Dec. 20th of dropsy.  She was born in Kentucky February 8th, 1816 and
was the mother of ten children, four of them girls and six boys, most of whom
live in Oregon and have children and grand children of their own.  She came
overland from Oregon last July with her son James Robertson and who has a ranch
near Chat.  She was a sufferer for a long time.  The remains were buried at
Summit.
