Sparks Pioneer is Buried at Reno

The funeral services of Mrs. Maria Ross, a pioneer resident of Sparks and
Wadsworth, who died at Richmond, Cal., last Friday, were held at the Groesbeck
and O'Brien funeral parlors yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. T. L. Bellam
officiating.  A quartet sang two solos during the service.

The members of the G.I.A. attended the services in a body and performed the last
rites of the order around the grave at Mt. View cemetery.  The members of the
Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers acted as pallbearers.
