Reno Evening Gazette March 13, 1884
Died at Verdi
Charles Sherburn died at Verdi at 1 o’clock this morning of inflammation of the
bowels.  He had become greatly reduced in the last two years by chronic
diarrhea.  His age was 36 and his mother and step-father live in River Falls,
Wisconsin, where he was born.  He has been 12 years on the coast, most of the
time at Verdi.  He was a member of Reno Lodge No. 19, I.O.O.F.  The funeral will
take place to-morrow at 2 o’clock at Crystal Peak.
