Peter SHERIDAN, one of the veteran mine employees of the Comstock and widely known among the old-time residents of Virginia City, was found dead at his home in that town yesterday morning. Death occurred several days ago from natural causes it was stated last night. Sheridan was about 70 years old and for years was employed as a mine blacksmith and tool sharpener. He was one of the early day workers at the bonanza mines at the C & C shaft. Note: Remainder of obit was cut off.
