Daily Nevada State Journal April 19, 1882
Ralph, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Smith, died of scarlet fever at 4
o’clock yesterday morning.  The child was twenty months old, and a very bright
boy for his age.  His funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock, and
friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
