Steel-On the Truckee Meadows, October 9, 1882, Mrs. Sophia Steel, mother of
William and Robert Steel, aged 85 years


Mrs. Sophia Steel, mother of William and Robert Steel, died at the residence of
her son Robert, on Truckee Meadows, aged 85.  The funeral took place this
forenoon, and was very largely attended, a long line of carriages showing the
estimation in which the deceased was held.
