Death of an Old-Timer

Last Friday John Thayer, an old resident of Reno, died on the premises of his 

ranch, near Laughton's Springs.  He was nearly 54 years old, and a few days 

ago was stricken with an attack of general debility, to which he finally 

succumbed on Friday.  The remains were interred yesterday from the undertaking 

establishment of W. Saunders, at 2 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery.
