He had but lately arrived from Canada in a very bad condition of health, on a trip to his relatives on this coast, hoping that the genial climate of the Pacific might alleviate his consumptive malady. Having arrived at Reno, where several near relatives are domiciled, he domesticated with his old-time friend John Hogan. The late sudden change in the temperature, so dangerous to unacclimated persons, caused a relapse that proved fatal, and one that the best efforts of the physicians could not overcome. Deceased was a native of Ireland, aged 54 years, and the funeral will take place from the residence of John Hogan, at the Western hotel, this afternoon at 2 o’clock, and from thence to the Catholic burial ground. Mr. Tighe leaves a mother, two brothers and a sister in Canada, a nephew in Nevada and several relatives in Michigan.
