Reno Evening Gazette November 1, 1884
A Pioneer Gone.
Yesterday afternoon about three o’clock, P. J. Toll, the furniture dealer, died
of inflammation of the stomach, aged 74 years.  Mr. Toll was a most exemplary
citizen, a Pacific Coast Pioneer and one of Reno’s most worthy citizens.

Funeral Notice.
The relatives of the late P.J. Toll have concluded not to send the remains
below, and the funeral services will take place to-morrow at 2 o’clock, from the
Methodist Church.
