He was an old resident of Reno, and was very much respected. His daughter is Mrs. F. J. Flitter, and his son is living in San Francisco. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Episcopal church. Watson-In Reno, October 17, 1882, of pneumonia, Joseph Watson, a native of Birmingham, England, aged 67 years. Daily Nevada State Journal October 18, 1882 The funeral of the late Jacob Watson will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Episcopal Church. Friends and acquaintances are requested to attend. Mr. Watson’s Death Joseph Watson, the well-known shoemaker, lately burned out in the Virginia street fire, died yesterday morning in his shop adjoining the Odd Fellows’ building. Ever since the fire, the old man has been very despondent and about a week ago he was seized with an attack of pneumonia, the second he has had. Dr. Berman attended the case but after six days of suffering, he expired at six o’clock yesterday morning. He was 68 years of age, a native of Burningham, England, and leaves a wife and three children. The latter, who are in California, will arrive on this morning’s train to attend the funeral which takes place at 2 P.M., from the Episcopal Church, Rev. Mr. Jenvy, officiating.
