Gone Home
James Webster, father of Judge William Webster, died at his home in Pleasant
valley on Sunday last, after a brief illness.  The Webster family have been old
and valued residents of Washoe county.  James Webster has been known to all old
settlers as one of those sturdy and self-reliant pioneers who have done much to
open this great western empire to the world.  He was a hale and hearty old man
going down quietly to his rest, and the end was not expected for many years.  In
his last hour the father had the close attention and care of his son and family,
to whom the community extends its sincere expressions of sympathy.

Funeral Notice
The funeral of James Webster will take place from the M. E. Church tomorrow at 1
P.M.  Friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited.
