Reno Evening Gazette July 26, 1912
Receives Sad News of Death of Railroad Man
Word was received by J.H. Whited in this city yesterday afternoon that A.T.
Clippinger, a former railroad foreman, had died in Sacramento.  Mr. Clippinger
was formerly foreman of the Southern Pacific shops in Wadsworth and later
occupied a similar position in Sacramento.  He had been in ill health for some
time and his death was not unexpected.  He leaves a daughter and widow to
survive him.  Some years ago the deceased was married to Ettie McBean, a niece
of Baliff Whited.
