Another Recruit for Hymen.



  Charley Gilchrist has gone and done it, and done it surreptitiously at 

that.  Wednesday night he got out a license, and skipped up to Carson 

yesterday morning.  In the afternoon yesterday he and Miss Mary Fulstone were 

united in the holy bonds of matrimony in Carson, and departed last night to 

spend the honeymoon in California.  Good bye, Charley, and good luck to you.  

Never  mind the wine (though you did forget it) for the Gazette staff have all 

joined the Good Templars.
