Larry L. Bennington



Larry L. Bennington died April 20, 2007, in Ely. He was 69.



Mr. Bennington was born Nov. 14, 1937, in York, Pa., to Hubert L. and Elva

(Gross) Bennington.



He graduated from Yale with a Chinese language degree and served as a translator

in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the military, he worked as head

custodian at Western High School in the Clark County School District. He lived

in Ely for 20 years.



He enjoyed fishing.



Mr. Bennington is survived by his children: Debra Lee Smith, Michael L.

Bennington and Trisha Welch, all of Las Vegas. He is also survived by nine

grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother Richard L. Bennington of Ely and

his good friends Sharron and Al Nance of Ely. He was preceded in death by his

daughter, Tori Lynn Nance.



There will be a memorial service at a later date.
