Patricia Lake Jolly



Patricia Jolly, age 79, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007.



She was born in East Ely, NV on November 15, 1927. Pat graduated from White Pine

High School in 1945.



On May 4, 1947 Pat married Dallas Jolly, the love of her life. For 57 years, Pat

and Dallas were inseparable.



Pat worked many years at the Washoe County Recorders office, before retiring to

help Dallas in the meat industry. Pat was along side Dallas in the early years

with the Reno Meat Company. They opened the Butcher Boy in 1974 on Rock Blvd.,

Sparks.



After selling the Butcher Boy to nephew Ken Jolly, they retired to Topaz Lake

for 10 years. Wanting to spend more time with family, they moved back to Sparks.



Pat and Dallas formed a loving team that was unprecedented. She added her

catering talents to any event with care and enthusiasm.



Pat always had a special place in her heart for Terri, which words can't

describe. She loved all her grand kids, great grand kids, nephews, nieces and

extended family. With a wonderful unique personality all of her own, she will be

truly missed.



Pat is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dallas Jolly. They would have

celebrated their 60th anniversary on May 4, 2007.



She is also preceded in death by her father; Tom Lake, mother; Rose Simpson;

stepfather, Andrew Simpson; sister, Geraldine Spencer; nephews; Tom Thiessen and

Joe Siefers.



Pat is survived by her "daughter at heart" Terri (Roger) Siecker of Reno,

cousin; Joyce Anderson, Hawthorne, NV, grandchildren; Patti (Lee) Kelly, Weiser,

ID, Rick Landon of Reno, great grandchildren; Billy Landon of Weiser, ID, Ricky

Landon of Reno, and Samantha Henry of Sacramento, CA, close family members;

Sally and Lou Lemaire of Battle Mountain, Dick and Barbara Jolly of Reno, Carl

and Gladys Jolly of TX, nephews; Dan Thiessen, Bill (Betty) Theissen, Maureen

Thiessen, George (Judy) Jolly, Rick (Kathy) Jolly, Ken (Trish) Jolly, Carl

(Linda) Jolly, Greg Jolly, Louie (Cheryl) Lemaire, Lyle (Suzann) Lemaire, Lance

(Shanna) Lemaire, Doug (Sheila) Siefers, Kayo (Zonda) Siefers, Dan (Carol)

Siefers, nieces; Jana Ballstadt, Lori (Tracy) Price, Leslie (Dan) Lee, Linda

(Dave) Ellsworth, and numerous great nieces and nephews.



A celebration of Pat Jolly's life was held at her home in Sparks on Saturday.

May 12.
