Peter Lukich



Ruth native Peter Lukich died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Portland, Ore. He was 73.



Mr. Lukich was born Sept. 20, 1933, in Ruth. He moved to Portland in 1944. He

graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School and served in the U.S. Air Force

during the Korean War. He was a salesman for promotion products.



He married Barbara Arms in the early 1950s; they divorced. In 1974, he married

Colleen Joerg Stack.  Survivors include his wife; daughter, Diana Gill; sons,

Peter III and James; stepdaughter, Debbie Simons; stepson, Jeff Stack; former

wife; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.



A memorial gathering was held Saturday, May 5, in the clubhouse of Jasper

Heights Condominiums in Portland.
