She was 82. Mrs. Poulsen was born April 27, 1925, in Spring City, Utah, to James Christian and Martha (Gabrielsen) Pedersen. She had lived in White Pine County since 1969, coming from Mt. Pleasant, Utah. She was a member of the Ely First Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed photography, gardening, cooking, classical music and the out of doors. Mrs. Poulsen is survived by her husband, Warren G. Poulsen of Ely; three daughters: Jerry Ann (Toni) Downard of Republic, Wash., Jennifer (Brent) Bowler of Newman Lake, Wash., and Diane (Chuck) Vaughan of Ely; three sons: Warren (Sharolyn) Poulsen of Stephenville, Texas, James (Bonnie) Poulsen of Alamo and Michael (Melinda) Poulsen of Ely; 29 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Nielson of Ephriam, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Clarence Pedersen, Edwin Pedersen, Delbert Pedersen and Od Johasen; and two sisters: Mabel Hutchinson and Judith Downard. A viewing was held Monday, May 7, at the Ely LDS Stake Center, with services following. Burial was held Tuesday at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
