Gerald (Gary) Eyre Webb



Gerald (Gary) Eyre Webb passed away April 11, 2007 at his home in Ely, NV with

his loving family by his side. Gary died due to complications with C.O.P.D. and

cancer.



Gary was born September 2, 1933 in Panguitch, UT to Arlo Eyre and Ida Francis

(Hatch) Webb. He was the ninth of ten children. Preceding him in death were his

parents, brothers, Robert, Garn and Loren and sisters, Berta, Arla, Lorna and

grandson Bryan Vest.



Gary was born and raised in Panguitch, UT. He moved to McGill, NV in 1953 where

he met and married his wife Rayola. He worked for Kennecott Copper until

retiring in 1983. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1956 in Germany during the

Korea conflict. He lived and raised his four girls in McGill before moving to

Cross Timbers in 1977 where he worked hard to build the place he called home.



Gary enjoyed all outdoor activities such as farming, camping, hunting, fishing,

and raising and riding horses.



The last few years Gary loved watching and protecting his pet rabbits which roam

freely in his yard.



He is survived by his wife of 53 years Rayola Harris Webb, four daughters, Kerry

(David) Vest, Vicki Jones, Tina (Jon) Shephard, and RaLeene (Rick) Makley.

Grandchildren, Kacey Payne, Eyrica Cardin, Jeremy (Alena) Vest, Shalis (Shawn)

Mayhue, Gary, Tarin, and Collin Jones, Daniel and Robert Gabriel, Marci

Roederer, and Matthew Webb. Step-grandchildren, Michelle McArthur, Michael and

Nicholas Makley, Christopher, Alexander and Daniel Shephard. Great-grandchildren

Brianna, Charlotte, Carson, Makala, Dakota, Brook, Jerek, Raegynn, Kaylin,

Briana, Taylor, Raquel, Mckenzie, Kylie, Dillon, Nathan, Nichole, and Hannah.

Sisters Louise (Garn) Whitlock and Frankie Barney, sister-in-laws Dora (Burnell)

Stark, Phyllis (Jack) Detomasi and Norma Harris and by numerous nieces and nephews.



Per his request no funeral services will be conducted. A memorial tribute for

friends and family will be held on April 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of

Rick and RaLeene Makley in Ely, NV (weather permitting).
