A Recommendation of as many of them as ware in Town and could Conveniently meet, Your Excellency will find enclosed together with a Return of those that have associated. We beg you Excellency will forward our Commissions as soon as Conveniently may be. We, the Subscribers, having agreeable to an Act of the Legislature of this State for regulating the Militia thereof, associated ourselves and having Elected the following Gent., to be our Officers, to wit Corn's Van Santvoordt Capt., David Grosebeeck & Marte Myndertse Lieuts., do hereby Recommend them to be Commissioned accordingly; and we do hereby farther request our said Officers to transmit this our Recommendation together with a return of our said Company to his Excellency Governor Clinton with all Convenient speed.
