Clark, At the Sign of Faust's Statue, No. 22, Hudson Street. ---- Property seizures by Leonard H. GANSEVOORT, sheriff: By virtue of a writ of fiera facias to me directed and delivered, I have seized and shall sell on the premises, on the 21st day of August next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon-all the right, title, interest, and estate of James HOWARD to a farm or piece of land lying in the town of Bern- bounded on the north by the farm of Thomas PINCKNEY; on the west by said PINCKNEY, Eliphalet STEVENS and Joseph M. BUNDY; on the south by George VAN ARNUM; and on the east by Edward A. TOLES, containing 38 acres. By virtue of a writ of fiera facias issued out of the supreme court of the state of New York, to me directed and delivered, I have seized and shall sell at the Mansion House, kept by N.S. SKINNER,in this city, on the 31st day of July next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, all the right, title, interest and estate of Daniel W. SACKRIDER to a house and lot, No. 537 South Market street, bounded north by a house in the possession of Maitly HOWELL - west, by Church street - south, by property of Catharine TRUAX, and east by S. Market street. By virtue of a writ of fiera facias issued out of the supreme court of the state of New York, to me directed and delivered, I have seized and shall sell at the Mansion House, kept by N.S. SKINNER,in this city, on the fifteenth day of July next, at ten o'clock in forenoon, all the right, title, interest and estate of Calvin CHEESEMAN to a farm in the town of Guilderlands, said to contain about one hundred and nine acres occupied by C. OSTERMAN, and bounded by the farms of Aaron WARNER and Jacob SETLERTY [surname very difficult to read, may not be correct] and the Manor line. By virtue of a writ of fiera facias issued out of the supreme court of the state of New York, to me directed and delivered, I have seized and shall sell at the premises, on the eight day of July next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon - all the right, title, interest and estate of Abraham G. WANDEL, to all that farm, piece, or parcel of land [illegible] and being in the town of Watervliet, bounded northerly by a highway called the Cohe's Lane, westerly by a highway called the Loulon road, southerly by lands of William ROFF, and easterly by lands of Abraham H. By virtue of one execution, issued out of the Justices court, to me delivered, I shall expose to sale at public vendue, at the house of Ichabod PECK, in the town of Rensselaerville on the 19th day of June next, at one o'clock in the afternoon, all the right, title, interest and estate of Samuel HOAG to the following property namely, to all that piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the town of Rensselaerville, being part of lot N. 34, bounded on the south by lands formerly owned by Joseph HALL, on the west by Bethiel HAINMAN, on the east by the road that leads to the mill built by HALL and SHADBOLT, on the north by the highway, being about one and an half acres of land, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging - And also all the right, title and interest of the said Samuel HOAG to the grist mill built by Joseph HALL and Lemore SHADBOLT that lies about forth or fifty rods south of the above named property all lying in the town of Rensselaerville. by Abm. By virtue of two executions to me directed against the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of Christiana MYERS, I shall sell at public vendue, on the premises, in Fox street, on the tenth day of June next, all her right and title to two dwelling houses and lots in the city of Albany, bounded on the south by Fox street, on the west by Sybrant KETTLE, on the north by Fox creek, on the east by the widow GROESBECK's house and lot. ---- Property seizures by Isaac HEMPSTED, late sheriff: By virtue of two writs of fiera facias, to me delivered I shall expose to sale at public vendue at the house of Ichabod PECK, in the town of Rensselaerville, on the nineteenth day of June next, at one o'clock in the afternoon, all the right, title, interest and estate of Matthew MILLER to all that piece or parcel of land, lying in the town of Westerlo, the north west corner of lot No. 370, bound on the north by the town line, on the east by Abraham SPORE, on the south by John FIAGLER, on the west by Jesse MILLER; containing about sixty-three acres of land, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging. By virtue of a writ of fiera facias issued out of the supreme court of the state of New York, to me directed and delivered, I have seized and shall sell at the Skinners Mansion house in this city, on the seventeenth day of May next at 12 o'clock at noon. All the right title interest and estate of James SCRYMSER, to all those two certain lots of ground situate, lying and being in the third ward of the city Albany, bounded as follows: east by water st. north by a lot of ground heretofore sold to James SCRYMSER and Peter McNAB; west by the lot of ground on which the Ceceder church now stands; thence northerly, crossing Foxes creek along the east side of Montgomery st. twenty four feet one inch; thence eastwardly by a lot [remainder illegible] By virtue of several writs of fiera facias, I have taken and shall sell at public vendue at the house of William SPRINGSTEAD in the town of Bethlehem on the sixth day of May next, at 12 o'clock at noon. All the right, title, interest and estate of John OOTHOUT to all that farm, piece or parcel of land lying and being in the town of Bethlehem, bounded as follows: on the North by the lands of William HOUGHTAILING; on the west by lands of William OOTHOUT, on the east by the lands of Ambrose WILSEY, containing about 56 acres of land. By virtue of a writ of fiera facias, to me delivered, I have seized and shall sell at public vendue, at the house of Ichabod PECK, in the town of Renselaerville, on the fourth day of June next, at one o'clock in the afternoon. All the right, title, interest and estate, of Evert WALLEY and Obadiah SIGSBEE, to all that piece or parcel of land, lying and being in the town of Renselaerville [illegible] degrees north, on Philo CAMP's line [illegible] and stones on the line of Frederick PALMER's land; thence on said Palmers land, north 74 degrees west, nineteen chains and [illegible] about 20 acres of land, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging. ---- [Note: the following lengthly legal descriptions have been paraphrased, retaining the names of the individuals involved] Whereas John TURNER, late of Albany, mason, did on May 25,1816 for the sum of $400 plus interest, mortgage & convey to Thomas TATE, of Albany - that house or parcel of land in the 5th ward of Albany - bounded as follows: On the S. by the house of (then) John GENTER and Hugh BRADFORD; on the E. by Mongomery St.; on the W. by property of Walter QUACKENBOSS; and on the N. property of Abraham LANSING. And whereas default has been made in the payment of part of the principal due, notice is given that the premises will be sold at public auction on the premises on Tues. next.
