Carr Jr., age 22, of Albany Shaker Rd., died suddenly Friday at his home in Loudonville. Born in Albany, he was a resident of the Capital Region all of his life. He was a graduate of the LaSalle Institute, Class of '99, where he achieved the rank of captain and was a member of the drill team and other LaSallian functions. He currently was a student at Siena College and was an intern in a student capacity for Assemblyman Bob Prentiss. He was the beloved son of William F. and Suk (Kwon) Carr Sr. of Loudonville; grandson of Margaret E. Carr and the late Reginald A. Carr of Stephentown; nephew of Sok Albert; and cousin of Onnum Kwon, both of Loudonville. Billy is also survived by nine wonderful aunts and seven uncles from both Stephentown and Korea, as well as many, many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Michele Cassese, resident of Pembroke Pines, Fla., formerly of Albany, N.Y., loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away July 6, 2004 after battling a long illness. Her wonderful grace, charm, and strength remains in our heart. Michele Cassese appeared on Broadway, television, and in theatre productions from 1940-1985. She starred in radio and TV with WGRB-TV. She had her own talk show, Table Talk with Michele Cassese. She danced with the Arthur Murray Company and on Off-Broadway. Her theatrical career included over 25 roles in community theatre. She is pre-deceased by her husband John Cassese, President of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association of NYC and she is the daughter of the late Israel and Lena Wolfman. Coyle, 84, of Loudonville, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Mrs. Coyle was born October 16, 1919 in Earlton, N.Y. to William and Hazel Roe Deere. She was the system manager for Whitney Shoes in Albany for over 20 years before retiring in 1972. Catherine was a great cook and enjoyed watching and playing with her great-grandchildren. Mrs. Coyle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary T. and Robert Stiffen of Loudonville; a son, Richard E. Coyle; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel J. and Patricia Coyle, all of Albany; three sisters, Flo Potter, Gwen Walters and Mary Deere, all of Colonie; two brothers, Harvey Deere of Niskayuna and Jesse Deere of Colonie; 10 grandchildren, Nancy, Bobby, Jim, Cherie, Lisa, Richard, Courtney, Christine, Daniel Jr. and Scott. Born in Cornwall, N.Y. on May 3, 1905, she was the daughter of Peter and Sarah Harrigan McGillin, she moved to Amsterdam as an infant. Mrs. Davies received her education at St. Mary's Institute in Amsterdam. Mrs. Davies was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, a member of the Rosary Society and was very active in the PTA at St. Mary's Institute, all in Amsterdam. Her husband, Raymond Davies to whom she was married April 20, 1927, passed away December 18, 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Marion Robertson and her husband David of Gloversville and Diana Getsloff Costello of Amsterdam; three granddaughters, Karen Bazan of Amsterdam, Cheryl Dybas and her husband Curtis of Lake George and Amy Gyory and her husband Bruce of Delmar; two grandsons, Raymond D. Robertson of Colo. and Richard C. Ferri, Angela Fazzone CLIFTON PARK Angela Fazzone Ferri, formerly of Tower Street, Rotterdam, died Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the Schuyler Ridge Health Care Facility in Clifton Park. She was 81. Born in Alvignano, di Caserta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Maria Lotano Fazzone. In 1926, at the age of three, she came to the United States and was a 1941 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. In 1942, she married her first husband, Alphonso Constantino, who died in 1976. Angela worked at various jobs and was last employed as a secretary for the warehouse manager at the Golub Corp. in Rotterdam where she worked for many years and retired in 1979. She married Ralph Ferri in 1979 and continued her relationship with Price Chopper by organizing the Retiree's Picnic. She was involved in many community activities including the Rotterdam Little League, Rotterdam Babe Ruth, Rotterdam Vol. Fire District #2 Ladies Auxiliary and the Rotterdam Democratic Club. Angela was predeceased by two sisters, Marge Aldi and Mary Tiberio. She is survived by three sons, Enrico J. Rick Constantino of Long Island, James A. Constantino of Long Island and Nicholas A. (Susan) Constantino of Clifton Park; one sister, Rae (Steve) Pasquariello of Schenectady; two brothers, A. Born September 4, 1919, in Glens Falls Hospital, he was the son of the late Alice Jolley. Jack retired from the City of Albany as a supervisor of the carpenter shop. Prior to that, he was employed as a shop foreman for Concord Lumber Co. on Terminal Street in Albany for 26 years. Mr. Fish was an avid gardener and loved riding his motorcycle. He is predeceased by his sister, Betty Biss. Mr. Lawlor served his country during World War II and the Korean War in the Navy. He also spent more then 20 years in the Naval Reserve. COLONIE Pearl Matilda Dott Veeder, 87, of Colonie, died Friday, July 9, 2004 after a brief illness. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Matilda Dott. Pearl was a 1934 graduate of Albany High School. She had worked for Albany County Welfare Department and Schenectady Locomotive Works. In 1953, Pearl and her husband Harold started Veeder's Restaurant in Colonie. The restaurant had been a Colonie landmark for 50 years. Pearl is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Harold M. Veeder. She is the devoted mother of Harold Bruce Veeder (late wife Mary Ann) and Michael Jay Veeder (wife Martinez). She is the cherished grandmother of David, Christin, Jessica, Mark (Sheba), Michael, Amanda, Kelsey and Lindsey; great-grandmother of Luke. She is the sister of Joan, Jack and John (Butch) Dott. LAKE ARROWHEAD, Va. William A. Bill Vincent, 88, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. Bill was a native of Alcove, N.Y. and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of many Masonic organizations. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise Sunday Vincent; one sister, Dorothy Glasser of Troy, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. EAST GREENBUSH Jesse F. Wilson, age 82 years, of East Greenbush, died Friday, July 9, 2004 at Albany Memorial Hospice Center after a long illness. Born in Wellsboro, Pa., he came to the Capital District in 1939. He served in the US Army during World War II. In 1955, he started Allied Refrigeration, which later became Albany/ARI Refrigeration. He retired from the business in 1987. Jesse was a Mason and a member of Wadsworth Lodge #417 F&AM, receiving a plaque for 60 years of membership. He was involved in many other organizations in the Capital District, including AXA of Albany, and was very active for many years with the Cub Scouts in West Sand Lake. Jesse was an avid bowler with the East Schodack Recreation Club for many years and, after he retired, he took up golfing. He enjoyed spending his winters in Winter Haven, Fla. where he was known as good old Mr. Wilson. One of the things that everyone will remember about Jesse is his stories and he had many to tell. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Clare Wilson, and their children, Wayne of East Greenbush, Karen (Robert) Arnold of East Greenbush, Marilyn Moses of Chesterfield, Mich., Ruth (David) Wedge of Averill Park and Terri (Howard) Petell of East Greenbush. Son of the late Tracy and Harriet Wilson; brother of Veva Bangert of Delmar, N.Y., Shirley Kern of Cohoes, N.Y. and the late Hubert Wilson. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Tuesday afternoon at 12. All are welcome to attend.
