McGuire, Laurel (Memoriam) McGUIRE Laurel It's one year ago today you left us, Laurie. It's so very hard to go on without you, but go on I must. Because we are fighters Laurie, you and I. When we met we were both fighting for our lives from another disease and we were having trouble going on. We shared our pain and we barred our souls right from that very first day. We became friends, we became best friends, and then we fell in love. As deeply in love as two people could possibly be. We realized at the very start that it was fate that we met fifteen hundred miles from home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.... We both knew it was God's plan not ours that brought us together. Yes, God has a plan for us all. You spoke of that many times.. With your light to guide me and His, may I find that inner peace you so much wanted for me .. It was yours and all of us who loved you could see it and feel it.. As I said at your service I must be happy that He put you in my life for as long as he did. But Darling, I miss you so.... You gave me so much and I will never forget our time together.. Your smile, your love and your sense of what life should really mean to us all.. You have left me in awe and so may I carry the light that you have given me beyond your life and somehow hope that I too may be an inspiration to others as certainly you were to me. You have left this planet a far better place with your warm and gentle smile and the caring that you had for the people that were in your life. I love you my Dear Princess, I miss you more than words can ever say.. I believe you know even now what is in my heart and what I'm feeling today. So you must know my happiness will never really be realized until we are again together as one. Goodbye for now Sweet Princess I love you, I miss you.
