Born on August 27, 1924 in Jamestown, N.Y., he was the son of the late Marvin F. and Amelia (Ohman) Anderson. Stan married Lois White on March 11, 1950 in the Lutheran Church in Ithaca, N.Y. The couple formerly lived in Argyle from 1959 to 1980. Baldwin, Richard H. ALBANY Richard H. Baldwin, 79, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at his home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Richard and Cecil (Hutton) Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin was a World War II Navy veteran. He was employed with McKinney Steel for 34 years. He was a member of the Melvin Road American Legion Post #1231 and a longtime communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Brennan Baldwin; daughter, Judith Cahill (Michael) of Albany and son, Richard H. Baldwin Jr. of Albany. Hoey, 73 years old, died October 12, 2005 after a short battle with cancer at St. Clare's Hospice in Schenectady, N.Y., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York City at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital on January 3, 1932, the only child of Francis and Margaret McNulty. She was much loved by her surviving husband of 53 years, John F. Hoey. They were married on October 4, 1952 at Good Shepard Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan. They moved to Carle Place, N.Y. shortly after their marriage. They moved to Clifton Park, N.Y. in 1964 for professional reasons. Mary worked in the guidance counselor's office at Shenendehowa High School as a secretary from 1971 to 1993, where she was much loved and respected by her colleagues and the students whose lives she touched. Mary and John spent the past 12 years in retirement, spending winters in Gulfport, Fla. and the summers with their family in Upstate New York. They most recently resided in Glenville, N.Y. with their daughter. Mary leaves behind six children and 12 grandchildren, as she passes into God's loving hands. Survivors include her oldest daughter, Ann and husband Dr. Stephen Elgert of Bow, N.H. and children, Devin, Caitlin and Emily; Eileen and husband Donald Kerr of Winthrop, Maine and their daughter Clare; her only son, John of Baltimore, Md. and his son Liam; her daughter, Mary and husband Jerome Wawrzyniak of Glenville and children, Daniel and Stephanie; Barbara and husband James Davis of Ballston Spa and children, Andrew, Audra and Aidan; Patricia and husband William Fielding of Queensbury and their children, Carly and Brynn. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all. Mary worked hard to assure that all of her children graduated from college. Her family was the most important thing in her life. The family wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at the St. Clare's Hospice for their exceptional and compassionate care in Mary's final days. Krajewski, Edward B. STILLWATER Edward B. Krajewski, 63, of Russell Drive, died peacefully Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at home, in the company of his loving family. Affectionately known by many friends and co-workers as Big Ed and Din Din, Ed faced pancreatic cancer head-on, with a positive attitude and spirit, and fought his illness until the end. Born in Saratoga Springs, September 19, 1942, son of the late Francis and Mary Fortune Krajewski, Ed was a 1960 graduate of St. Peter's Academy in Saratoga Springs. Serving with the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1965, Airman 1st Class Ed served a short stint in Vietnam. A 30-year career with the G.E. Silicone Products Div. in Waterford, he last worked in the shipping department before retirement. While at G.E., Ed served a number of years as Santa Claus during the annual kids party, and had also written a food column for the plant's monthly newsletter. He was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club, Post 490 American Legion of Stillwater and a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Stillwater. A sports fan, Ed's favorite teams included the L.A. Dodgers, New England Patriots and the University of Notre Dame teams. A respectable chef, Ed loved to cook for his family at home and also for his co-workers. Ed traveled when possible, had visited Europe and taken several trips to Disneyworld. Ed's most enjoyable week of the year was when his family and in-laws would stay in their week's time-share in Lake Placid. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Carol Amodeo Krajewski; his children, Lisa and husband Frank Polsinello of Latham, Edward F. Krajewski and fiancee Patty Leroux of Cohoes and Amelia and husband Aaron Ambrosino of Springfield, Vt.; also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Emily Polsinello; a brother, F. Joseph Krajewski of Winchester, Mass. and sisters, Kathie Diaz of Sewell, N.J. and C.C. He was born and raised in Albany, graduated from Albany High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Plattsburgh. Kurt was the owner/principal of Blue Lightning Technologies, which provided customized computer and business services to a number of local companies. He was a benevolent and caring person and was especially compassionate with the elderly. Kurt was forever curious and eternally tinkering with anything mechanical. Kurt will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his parents, Lorenz and Kathleen (Flanagan); his brother, Brian; a special cousin, Kelly Musco and her son, Remy Boyea. A large, loving family including many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survives him. Gertrude was the valedictorian of the Class of 1944 from Hadley-Luzerne Central School in Lake Luzerne. She graduated with honors from Syracuse University. She worked for the National Lead Co. and RPI, and was secretary to NYS Commissioner of Education, James Allen. She continued in that position when he became National Commissioner of Health, Education and Welfare in Washington, D.C. She was secretary to Arthur Levitt Sr., NYS comptroller and later to his predecessor, Ned Regan. She was a member of the First Church of Albany, Reformed and, since moving to Guilderland two years ago, she attended the McKownville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed volunteering in many organizations including her church and was a patron of the arts. She handled her many illnesses with courage, dignity and an accepting spirit. She was the daughter of the late George M. O'Hare and Hazel Shaw O'Hare. Survivors include a brother, Frederick (Alice) O'Hare of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Ruth Parker O'Hare of Guilderland. She was Aunt Gert not only to her many nephews and nieces and their children, but also to many beloved friends. She was predeceased by a brother, George J. O'Hare. Bruce Pagano, 70, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at Ann Lee Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Arthur W. and Dolores Bruso Pagano. Bruce was a lifelong resident of Albany and graduated from School 4 and Albany High School, Class of 1955. He was a public accountant and worked with his father's accounting firm, Arthur W. Pagano & Sons. In later years, Bruce worked for the City of Albany. He was an accomplished bowler, based out of the Playdium Bowling Center. He was a federation division and city bowling champion in Albany and bowled several 300 games. Bruce was a longtime fixture at National Little League in Albany. Since his childhood days as a player, Bruce had been associated in numerous capacities with National, most recently as a longtime member of its board of directors. In recognition of his tireless dedication to National Little League, the A. Bruce Pagano Pavilion was named in his honor. Bruce was an avid gardener and a loyal booster to the basketball programs at the College of St. Rose and Jr. College of Albany. For many years, he worked with the chain gang at Albany High Football games. Along with family, Bruce enjoyed many summers at Myositis Lakes at Huycks Preserve in Rensselaerville. He is the husband of the late Sally McNally Pagano; beloved brother of Donald S. Pagano (late Mary) of Latham, John P. Pagano (Ida) of Rensselaer, Jeanne F. Andres (Terrance) of Guilderland and the late James R. Pagano. He is the nephew of Eugene Brousseau, Kathleen Bennett and Sadie Bruso. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Orin Francis and Mary Harriet Jones Stephenson. He was educated in Waterford schools. Mike had been employed for 31 years at Mohawk Paper Mill in Cohoes and retired in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Carol Banker Stephenson; his children, Michael Linn Stephenson of Green Island, Gerald Thomas Stephenson and Carolynn Ann Stephenson of Cohoes. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Brisson of Cohoes, Frank Stephenson of Schaghticoke and Linda Goodman of Brunswick; as well as his grandchildren, Michael Linn Stephenson Jr., Matthew Dillon Stephenson and Katlynn Mary Hayden; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ann First Swenson. She worked for Albany Department of Social Services in the accounting department for 33 years retiring in 1997. She is the mother of Terry Brown and Stephanie Zusy; dear companion of David Sivaslian; sister of Alberta Conell, Mark Swenson, Patricia Swenson, Virginia McKenna, Jacqueline Vath, Ingrid Swenson-Austin and the late Janice Swenson-Evert; grandmother of John Sager, Jena and Jaycee Hallenbeck and Salina Brown; also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill. Taylor, Lois C. WATERVLIET Lois C. Taylor, 65, of Ball Place, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 12, 2005, after a long illness. Born in Cambridge, N.Y. on February 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth Thurber Peters. A Watervliet resident for the past four years, she previously lived in Lansingburgh for many years. Raised in Cambridge, she graduated from Cambridge Central High School. Lois worked as a sales clerk for Littman Jewelers in Colonie until 2004 when the store closed. She previously worked in sales at the management level for several other retailers over the years, including Carl Co. in Troy, Cohoes Manufacturing, Macy's at Crossgates and David's Bridal in Albany. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lansingburgh and the Women of Trinity. She was an active volunteer for all of the church's events and activities. Survivors include a son, George F. Taylor III and his fiancee Marguerite Kennedy of Cohoes; a daughter, Susan Taylor and her husband Glenn Lewman of Barrington, R.I.; three grandchildren, Geoffrey and Sarah Beresford of R.I. and George Patrick Taylor of Cohoes; a brother, Arthur Peters of Cambridge; a sister, Bonnie Krisanda of Lansingburgh; and several nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her brothers, Marshall and Lloyd Peters, and her sister, Lorraine Brimmer.
