You nourished me, loved me, supported me too. Mothers like you are rare and too few. My life was blessed with you as my Mother. I wouldn't have wanted to have any other. You gave your all, your time, your love. A gift to me from Heaven above. Now you are gone, I have you no more. You have your wings now, you're able to soar. I have many memories of a mother so great. It hurt when you left, my heart it did break. You earned your rest, you endured to the end. I'll never forget you, my mother, my friend. Corcione, Joan (Memoriam) CORCIONE Joan Dear Mom, September 14th is almost here. We have had 5 Christmas holidays without you, 5 birthdays without you and Dad has had 5 anniversaries without you. We celebrated a new addition, some new homes, new jobs and new boyfriends. All of these things can be measured with exact time and exact dates. You could even try to count the number of tears we had shed since you have been gone, but they would be far too numerous. You could even measure time if you think about how much we miss you and how long it has been since we gave you a hug or heard your wonderful laugh...that seems like at least a million years! But, then we also think of how much you mean to us and how much you affect our lives and how much we love you...and it is like you are still here with us. In many ways, you still are and those feelings will never end. We all miss you so much! Love, Your Family Published in the Albany Times Union on 9/11/2005. Cotter, Florence E. Panetta, Vince (Memoriam) PANETTA Vince Five years seems like both a life time and an instant, an instant that will forever be remembered and affect so many. With each passing day we hope that the pain in our hearts will mend but we can only learn to accept the loss and deal with the pain. We focus on the things that your memory has left behind. Things like feeling the kindness in your heart and the warmth in your eyes, and to have heard the sincerity in your laughter, for these are all gifts that you left behind for us. It is these gifts that help us both accept your loss and keep you alive and with us always. Not a day goes by without you in our thoughts.
