A man named Patrick McCormick, aged about 25 years, while engaged in astracting the fuse from a shell in a shed attached to the factory, the shell burst, killing McCormick instantly. Both of his arms were blown off, his body terribly mutilated, and one of his eyes completely blown out. After the explosion his body presented a horrible sight. One side of the shed was torn down. A few minutes before the accident Mr. Lawrence had cautioned McCormick to have nothing to do with the shells but his warning was not heeded. Additional Comments: Page 1, column 3
