Jeffersonian Republican. (Stroudsburg, Pa.) 1853-1911: May 20, 1875
At Binghamton, Broome Co., N. Y. on the 15th inst., Mr. George Swartwood, of
consumption, aged 54 years and 6 months. His remains were brought to this place on
Monday last, and were interred in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. A large number of the
members of Fort Penn Lodge, No. 134, I. O. O. F. turned out in full regalia, and
assisted at his burial.
