The record actually begins with the children of unidentified Bonker parents. By researching deeds and censuses, I am about certain that the parents are Oliver Bonker and his wife, Matilda (or Hannah, as I have two different names from Aurelius reservation deeds dated 1808 and 1813).. The second page lists some marriages and the children of a D. Smith and an unnamed mother. Henry Bonker. (son of Oliver) and Lucy Smith, dau. of (D. Smith) were married in 1836 and my guess is that the author of this Bible entry was the mother of one or the other of them. However, if Matilda or Hannah was a Granger, then she did not list herself on the page with the children of William and Matilda Granger, and the mother of the oldest Smith sibling would be too old to be any of these Granger females.
