Family data, Barker-LaDue Family Bible, The Holy Bible (Jesper Harding, 
Philadelphia 1853); originally owned by Jane Ann Barker Ladue of Brutus, 
Cayuga County, New York. It was passed down after 1916 from Jane to her 
daughter, Minnie Joann Ladue Kenyon of Brutus, then in 1928 to her son, 
Herbert Abram Kenyon of Yankton, South Dakota, and lastly in 1971 to his 
granddaughter, Garnet Kenyon Elliott of Keizer, Oregon.

This Bible, along with handwritten notations of family births, marriages and 
deaths, holds three pressed flowers, small samples of fabric, and three 
unidentified samples of long hair. NOTE: 1) the record handwriting appears 
to have been written by five different people over the years, and 2) the 
submitter has added brackets [] to clarify or provide additional 
information.
