Mrs. Lodema T. Titus

   Mrs Lodema Tobias Titus died suddenly Sunday evening at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Edwin J. Hill, in Center Street.  Mrs Titus who had reached the 
advance age of 94 years, was apparently in her usual health when stricken, and 
had been conversing with members of the family but a moment before.
   Mrs. Titus was born in the Town of Springport and spent her married life at 
Coonley Corners.  The past ten years she had spent with her son, Daniel Titus, 
at Aurelius, coming to her daughter's this winter.  She was well known and 
beloved by many for her many good deeds.
   Mrs. Titus is survived by three sons and three daughters, Daniel Titus of 
Aurelius, Edgar Titus of Lansing, Mich., and Edwin Titus of Freeville; Mrs. E. 
J. Hill of this village, Mrs. E. Gunn of Levanna and Mrs John Ward of Scipio.  
Twenty eight grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hill, Tuesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. George E. Davies officiating. Burial was in 
Friend's Cemetery, this village.
