Funeral services at the home of her mother, Mrs. Susan W. Stewart Thursday, November 13th. Burial in Soule Cemetery. ____________ The following newspaper article was found in a Day Book of Archibald Stewart dated March 1840. This book was also used as a Scrapbook by his wife, Mary Stewart. This book is now in the Old Stone Museum located in Poplar Ridge, Cayuga Co., NY. Death of Mrs. Ethel May Weed Mrs. Ethel May Weed age 25 who underwent an operation at the City Hospital three weeks ago, died at that institution yesterday. The deceased had been in poor health since the fall of 1910 when she fell on the walk at the corner of War- ren Avenue and Aspen Street. Her death was not directly attributable to the fall, in which she sustained a fractured wrist in addition to a se- vere shaking up. Mrs. Weed brought suit against the city and required damages in the extent of $3,500. The Appellate Di- vision sustained the verdict and at a meeting of the Common Council last month of the payment of the judgment was ordered. She is survived by her husband, William H. Weed, an employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Stewart, and six children, Charles, Dorothy, Har- ry, Ethel, Beatrice and Ella. The oldest of these is seven years old while the youngest is an infant. The family have the sincere sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Funeral services will be held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Susan W. Stewart, No. 134 Hardenburg Avenue Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in Soule Cemetery.
