Joseph BLAKE & others to the People Administrator Bond Filed Sept 18, 1832 Know all men by these presents, That we, Joseph BLAKE, Ebenezer HALE of Scipio and Seth H MANN of the town of Auburn in the County of Cayuga, are held and firmly bound unto the People of the State of New York in the sum of eleven hundred & twenty dollars, current money of said State, to be paid to the said people--to the which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and each of us, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated the eighteenth day of September in the year of our Lordone thousand eight hundred and thirty two The condition of this Obligation is such, That if the above bounden Joseph BLAKE administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights and credits, which were of Anna HALE, late of Scipio deceased, shall faithfully execute the trust reposed in him, as such administrator as aforesaid and shall also obey all orders that may from time to time be made by the Surrogate of the County of Cayuga, touching the administration of the estate committed to him--then this Obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. SEALED AND DELIVERED, IN PRESENCE OF {signed} Joseph BLAKE Ebenz HALE S H MANN In the Matter of the Personal property of Anna HALE decd Petition Filed Sept 18 1832 To The Surrogate of the County of Cayuga: THE PETITION of Joseph BLAKE of the town of Scipio in the County of Cayuga, respectfully sheweth: That your petitioner is the son of Anna HALE late of the town of Scipio in the said County of Cayuga, now deceased; that the said deceased died on or about the thirty first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two; that at, or immediately preceding the time of her death, she was an inhabitant of said County of Cayuga; that she has left no Will, as far as your petitioner has been able to discover: That the said deceased left no husband, that she left the following kindred, to-wit: your petitioner, Anna GRIFFEN wife of Samuel GRIFFEN, Submit GERE wife of Samuel GERE her children and Seth B.
