Will of Samuel Leonard Coleman I Samuel Coleman of the town of Victory in the County of Cayuga and State of N.Y. mindful of the uncertainty of human life, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner following: First. After the payment of all my Just debts and funeral expenses, I give and bequeath to my son Ambert C. Coleman, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.) Second. I give and bequeath to my son Nelson H. Coleman the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.) Third I give and bequeath to my son Edward Coleman, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.) Fourth I give and bequeath to my daughter Martha E. Eldridge, wife of John D. Eldridge, the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.) Fifth I give and bequeath to my grandson Franklin S. Coleman, son of Nelson H. Coleman, the sum of fifty dollars ($50.) Sixth I give and bequeath to my grandson, Wilbur S. Coleman, son of T. Edward Coleman, the sum of fifty dollars (50.) Seventh After the payment of the above legacies, I give, devise and bequeath to my son Samuel H. Coleman, to his heirs and assigns forever, all the rest, residue, and remainder of all my estates and property both real and personal, subject, however, to a trust to provide for my wife, Mina Coleman, during the remainder of her natural life, a good and competent support, clothing and maintenance, such as shall be suitable to her years and station in life, and in addition thereto to pay to her, my said wife, during said remainder of her natural life, the sum of twenty dollars per annum, which support, clothing and maintenance and yearly payment, I hereby make a first charge upon said residue. The said rest, residue and remainder of my said estates and property to rest absolutely in the said Samuel H. Coleman his heirs and assigns forever, subject only to the provisions of the trust and charge heretofore mentioned. And to the payment of the legacies hereinbefore bequeathed, which I make a charge, second and inferior to the first mentioned charge and trust, upon my real estate in case of any deficiency of my personal estate to pay the same. And I hereby declare that the said support, clothing and maintenance and the said sum of $20. per annum before mentioned and provided for as a charge on the rest, residue and remainder of my said estates and property are intended by me to be [?] and are by me so given to and provided for her, my said wife, in lieu of and in full satisfaction and recompense of me for her dower and thirds which she may or can in any wise claim or demand out of my said estates and property. Eighth I hereby nominate and appoint my son, Samuel H. Coleman, the executor of this my last will and testament and hereby authorize and empower him, the said Samuel H.
