HAYWARD, MRS. ALICE GIFFORD—Daughter of Walter C. and Eliza C. Robertson 
Gifford, was born at the Gifford Homestead near Lakewood October 29th, 1866. 
She married Mr. Hayward on July 10th, 1889 and has one son, Dr. Walter Gifford 
Hayward. Educated in the Jamestown Public Schools and Cooper Institute, she is 
a Republican, a member of the First M. E. Church, Woman’s Republican League 
and active in the W. C. T. U. Her home address is 113 E. 8th St.
