All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ny/nyfiles.htm Submitted Date: June 19, 2005 This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nyfiles/ File size: 4.2 Kb ************************************************ Lot 36, Town 4, Range 11 Written: May 16, 1837 Recorded: September 22, 1845 Chautauqua County, New York Recorder's Office Book 39, Page 544 Deed from Hinman and Tryphena HOLDEN to ROYSEL DARROW This Indenture, Made the Sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven Between Hinman HOLDEN of the County of Genesee and Tryphena his wife of the first part, and Roysell DARROW of the second part; Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the Sum of Three hundred and forty three dollars & fifty two cents lawful money of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, remised, released, aliened and confirmed; and by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell remise, release, alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs, and assigns forever, All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the County of Chautauque distinguished by the North West part of lot number thirty six in the fourth Township in the Eleventh Range of the Holland Companys survey Bounded North by lot number thirty seven, twenty two chains and fifty links East by land deed by Hinman HOLDEN & wife to Alonzo W. CASE forty chains South by a line parallel to the North bounds of said lot twenty two chains and fifty links: and West by lot number forty five forty chains Containing Ninety acres of land be the same more or less according to the plan laid down in the Margin hereof [drawing of lot at left of property description] Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim, or demand whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, either in Law or Equity, of, in and to the above bargained premises, with the said hereditaments and appurtenances. To Have and to Hold, the said premises as above described, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part for themselves their heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant, grant, bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents, they are well seized of the premises above conveyed, as of a good, sure, perfect, absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in the law in fee simple: And that the above bargained premises, in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof they will forever Warrant and Defend.
