This Indenture Made the Twentieth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty Six Between Aaron Town and Lucina his wife of
the Town of Arkwright County of Chautauqua and State of New York of the first
part and Don. D. Medbury of the town County and State of aforesaid of the
Second part.  Witnesseth that the Said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the Sum of Ten Dollars lawful Money of the United States of
America to them in hand paid by the Said party of the Second part the receipt
Whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have bargained Sold remised and
quit claimed and by these presents do bargain Sell remise and quit claim unto
the Said party of the Second part.  Don D Medbury and to his heirs and assigns
forever.____All that certain piece or parcel of Land Situate lying and being
in the County of Chautauqua and State of New York commencing on the West Line
of Lot thirteen and from the North West corner of Aaron Towns Now dwelling
house.  North twenty Nine and a half degrees West, (one chain thirty Seven
links therefrom) thence North on Said West Line Sixty Eight links Thence South
Seventy Nine and a half degrees.  East Sixty three links thence South parallel
to the West line of Said Lot Sixty eight links thence North Seventy Nine and
half degrees East fifty three links to the place of beginning Containing Six
Rods and thirty hundredths of a rod be the Same More or Less.  Together with
all and Singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
anywise appertaining and the revision and revisions remainder and remainders
rents issues and profits thereof and all estate rights title interest Dower
claim or demand whatsoever of the Said party of the first part either in Law
or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the Said
hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to hold the Said premises to the
Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns to the Sole and only
proper benefit and behoof of the Said party of the Second part his heirs and
assigns forever

In Witness Whereof the Said party of the first part have hereunto Set their
hand and Seal the day and year first above Written

On this Nineteenth day of May 1857 before me the Subcriber personally appeared
Aaron Town and Lucina his wife and acknowledged that they had Severally
executed the within instrument and the Said Lucina on a private examination
apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the within instrument
freely and Without any fear or compulsion of her husband  And I further
certify that I know the person Who Made the Said acknowledgment to be the
individual described in and who executed the within instument
