ALICE M. ARTHUR IS 93 YEARS OLD: BIBLE CLASS HELPS MRS. EMILY TURNER CELEBRATE 1936. Ten members of the Staples Bible Class of the Grace United Brethren Church helped Mrs. Emily Turner, 11 Price Street, celebrate her 93d birthday anniversary Saturday afternoon. Among the members present was Mrs. Betsy Blanchard whose 93d birthday the group celebrated in March. The program included Bible selections, prayers, readings and recitations by the members present, the reading of a communication from Mrs. C.E. Atwater, a member in Rochester, short talk and vocal selections, Rev. Charles M. McIntyre, accompanied by Mrs. Hinsdale and Mrs. Smith. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Hinsdale, assisted by Mrs. Smith. As each member departed, she wished the honor guest many happy returns of the day with more birthdays with health and happiness to come.
