OBITUARY CLIPPINGS THAT WERE TUCKED INSIDE THE 1936 DIARY OF ALICE M. ARTHUR
OF FALCONER, NY

MRS. EDITH B. RISLEY

KENNEDY.  SEPT. 15, 1936.  Elsie Bates Risley, widow of the late Henry C.
Risley, died at her home here at 2:15 P.M. today aged 80 years.  She is
survived by two sons, William H. Risley of Jamestown and Floyd B. Risley of
Mansfield, O.; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Campbell Abbott of Sanford, Conn.; three
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Mrs. Risley was a member of
the First Methodist Episcopal Church here and Ladies' Aid Society of the
church.  The funeral will be held Thursday at 3 P.M. at the Methodist
Episcopal Church.
