The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb *********************************************************************** Chautauqua Co., NY Wills Vol. 10 page 114 Amos Aldrich of Pomfret Will dated 31 July 1891 Probated 5 Ocg 1891 I Amos Aldrich of the Town of Pomfret in the County of Chautauqua and State of New York aged 67 years, considering the uncertainity of life and being of sound mind and memory do hereby make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the manner and form following, that is to say: First. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Cordelia Aldrich the use of all my property and estate both real and personal during her natural life. Second. At her decease I give devise and bequeath all the remainder of my property of estate both real and personal to my daughter, Emma D. Smith of Salt Lake City in the Territory of Utah and to her heris and assigns forever. Third. I hereby nominate and appoint Ephriam P. Wilson of Fredonia N.Y. to be the sole Executor of this Will, with power to sell and convey the real estate of which I shall die seized. Fourth. I hereby direct my said executor to sell and dispose of my real estate within one year after my decease if practicable. It Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 31st of July 1891. The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof subscribed by Amos Aldrich the Testator therein named in our presence and was at the same time declared by him to be his last Will & Testament, and we at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names hereto as witnesses.
